Question 1. Who will benefit from the test?
Answer:All candidates who have completed their XII Board/10+3 diploma education with Mathematics as a compulsory course of study with an aptitude and desire to become architects will benefit from this test NATA-2018.
Question 2. What is the fee for the test?
Answer: Rs. 1800/- (inclusive of bank charges)
Rs. 1500/- for SC/ ST candidates on providing a certificate from a competent authority (inclusive of bank charges)
Question 3. How long is the NATA score valid?
Answer:The NATA-2018 score is valid for admission into the B. Arch program for the academic year 2018-19.
Question 4. Where do I take the test?
Answer: The test can be taken at the iON proctored assessment centres spread across all major cities in India and in Dubai.
Question 5. Will the fee be refunded if I don’t take the exam?
Answer: There is no provision for refund.
Question 6. Can a candidate reschedule the exam?
Answer: As it is a one day test conducted all over the country, rescheduling the examination is not possible.
Question 7. Can I take exam in some other city other than my choice of city?
Answer: Once the choice of city is made in the application form, any kind of change will not be entertained.
Question 8. Can instruments and scale be used in the drawing test?
Answer: This test has to be done free hand, therefore the use of scale and other drawing instruments is not allowed.
Question 9. Why do I have to report two and a half hours before the examination?
Answer: There is a procedure to verify the identity of the candidate and take the biometrics before a candidate is allotted a seat in the examination centre. This process will take a minimum of two hours if the centres are large. Therefore, the time schedule has to be strictly adhered to.
Question 10. Who do I contact in case of any queries?
Answer: The queries can be addressed only through email (email@example.com) once the application process is opened up i.e., after 16.01.2018.

The SC/ ST certificate is subject to verification. If not found authentic the candidature for NATA-2018 will be cancelled and the Admit Card to take the examination will not be issued.
Question 12. Will I be allotted a centre of examination in the city of examination opted for as the first choice?
Answer:Usually, yes. However, if the number of candidates opting for a centre in a city is less than 250 then, the candidates will be allotted a centre in the city of their next choice.
Question 13. When will the Admit card be issued for taking the examination?
Answer:It will be issued online from 02.04.2018. You are required to get a print of the Admit Card without which you will not be allowed inside the examination hall.
Question 14. Can I bring a calculator for the examination?
Answer:All electronic devices including calculators and mobile phones are not allowed inside the examination centre.
Question 15. Can I leave the examination hall early if I complete the test?
Answer: No. The candidate has to stay inside the examination hall for the full duration of the test between 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
